The Continuum Ocean Enterprise Studio and Incubator, our flagship Startup Program, invites current and aspiring BlueTech entrepreneurs to apply. Seaworthy’s 12-week program provides bespoke support to grow or co-create early-stage U.S. BASED ocean data technology and services startups aligning with NOAA’s Ocean Enterprise Initiative.

Braid Theory | Ocean Enterprise Accelerator

The overarching goal of NOAA’s Ocean Enterprise program is to support the development, commercialization, and adoption of new ocean data technologies and services for economic and societal benefit to the United States and our growing blue economy. Like all of Braid Theory accelerators, The Continuum Ocean Enterprise Accelerator concentrates on three key aspects of commercialization: building capability, capacity, and intellectual capital. Curriculum topics like business model canvas and product/market fit, customer discovery, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy will be accompanied by relevant use cases to support the NOAA program.

Braid Theory | Commercialization Prep

Upon successful completion of one of The Continuum’s Ocean Enterprise Accelerator programs (or equivalent accepted on a case-by-case basis), founders are eligible to participate in the Commercialization Preparation Program. This 4-week program includes both one-on-one support and cohorted programming specifically tailored prepare for the Technology Development and Commercialization (TDC) award process. The one-on-one mentoring is centered on business model refinement around one or more ocean enterprise theme areas, while the workshops directly support pilot project proposal and TDC award application preparation.
